Lesson Policies

Valid for all Standard, Premium and Extended lessons, unless stated otherwise

Choosing Your Learning Pace

At the beginning of our cooperation, you choose how often you want to study (1×, 2× or 3× per week). Your chosen pace determines how quickly your package should be used.

Package Expiration = Your chosen pace + 2 extra buffer weeks

Examples:

  • 12-lesson package – 1 lesson/week → valid for 14 weeks
  • 16-lesson package – 2 lessons/week → valid for 10 weeks
  • 30-lesson package – 3 lessons/week → valid for 12 weeks

This system provides flexibility while keeping your progress consistent.

Payment & Refunds

  • All lesson packages must be paid in advance.
  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • In exceptional circumstances, unused lessons may be converted into credit (not cash).

Cancellations

⏰ 24-Hour Rule

  • • Cancelling less than 24 hours before the lesson → the lesson is counted as completed and is non-refundable.
  • • Cancelling 24+ hours in advance → free rescheduling.

🚫 No-Shows

If a student does not join the lesson within the allowed grace period (see section 6), the lesson is marked as completed and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

Rescheduling (Changing the Lesson Time)

Each package has a limited number of free reschedules:

  • • 12-lesson package → 2 free reschedules
  • • 16-lesson package → 3 free reschedules
  • • 20-lesson package → 4 free reschedules (maximum)

Any additional reschedules over this limit count as late cancellations and the lesson is lost.

Freezing / Pausing Your Package (Illness or Serious Reasons)

If you become ill or experience serious personal circumstances:

  • • You may request one pause per package, lasting up to 1–2 weeks.
  • • The pause must be communicated before your scheduled lesson.
  • • Your package expiration will be extended by the length of the pause.

Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

⏱ Grace Period

If you join late, the lesson ends at the originally scheduled time.

If you do not join within:

  • 15 minutes (for 50-minute lessons)
  • 20 minutes (for 75-minute Extended lessons)

Without informing the teacher in advance — the teacher may end the call and the lesson will be counted as completed with no refund and no extension.

🚫 No Free Extension

If you arrive late, the lesson does not get extended beyond the scheduled end time.

Teacher Illness or Emergency

Although this is rare, if I am sick or unable to teach:

  • Your lesson is never lost. All affected lessons will be rescheduled.
  • ✔ If rescheduling is not possible within your package window: your package expiration will be extended accordingly (typically by 1 week or more).
  • ✔ In case of longer illness: your package will be paused for the duration of my absence.
  • ✔ You will always be notified as early as possible.
  • Asynchronous learning: Your tasks and feedback will simply shift forward — you will never lose paid time due to my illness.

Asynchronous Courses / Coaching

  • • Cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • • You may request one weekly workload extension (+7 days) per 6-week cycle in case of illness, if communicated in advance.
